Students 8 to 80+ can learn the wonderful world of the classical acoustic guitar. This course provides students with a sound technical basis of playing and offers them the chance to explore and master the great classical guitar repertoire. Students are encouraged to attend guitar concerts by some of the world’s most renowned guitarists when they come to the Knoxville area. Students are also given the opportunity to perform in recital during appropriate points in their study. As with all of the arts, grounding in solid classical technique will enrich the student’s artistry no matter which musical genre they wish to pursue.
